Ancient History: Classification:  SS

This course focuses on the origins of civilization and the accomplishments of the great cultures of the Near East and the Mediterranean world: Mesopotamia, Egypt, Persia, classical Greece and Rome, concluding with the glory power of Byzantium. It explores the religious, social, cultural, economic, and political ideas that established the foundations of our own Western civilization.
