Medical Assistant: Classification: SC

A preparation course for medical assistants could involve training in front office administrative duties and/or back office laboratory procedures. Upon successful completion of the course a student will have the skills required for employment in a doctor's office or medical clinic for both (or either) administrative or clinical procedures. The training can prepare a student for work as a medical receptionist or insurance biller as well.
