Geology is the study of the earth and the processes that shape it. Included in this course could be a study of earth materials (rocks and minerals), earth processes (weathering, erosion, volcanism, earthquakes, mountain building, plate tectonics), earth history, energy sources, and careers in geology. Field trips would be an appropriate option.
