Astronomy:  Classification:  SC

This course should include a study of the solar system planets, satellites, and minor bodies. A study of the origin and development of the solar system may also be included. Along with the study of the solar system, this course could address the issue of what priority such study has for public and private research dollars. Laboratory is optional.
