 Fine Arts [FA]

Fine Arts: FA is a subject that lends itself so nicely to self-designed courses, that it is difficult to narrow down the field. What do we do with a student who has a passion for the French horn, practices daily, studies theory, performs with multiple orchestras, and wins every honor available? What do we do with such a student? We create additional course titles, such as Introduction to French Horn, Intermediate, Advanced, Performance in, Auditions in, Teaching of, Competition in, etc., etc. The student need not change his or her passion; the student just needs to add to it, record it well, and provide the necessary evidence to justify a high school credit.

This section offers self-designed Fine Arts courses. They are examples for your consideration, and we hope they stimulate ideas and become starting points for you.
