Music Appreciation

Music Appreciation: Classification: FA

This course is designed to expose the student to a wide variety of musical styles. Students will be introduced to important terms and concepts that underscore the study of music in general. The emphasis will be on listening to music and reading about the various periods of music history. Previous musical knowledge is not required, non-musical students are encouraged to embark on this study. This course will fulfill the Fine Arts requirement for high school credit.
